Ferrari Testarossa
Biarritz Sports And Classic Cars (BSCC) is delighted to present this Ferrari Testarossa.
Developed on the basis of the 512 BB, the Testarossa is, along with the F40, the last Ferrari imagined by the Commendatore.
A true symbol of what some consider to be the golden age of the motor industry, its instantly recognisable lines, typical of the 1980s, retain their timeless charm.
The 12-cylinder flat engine, borrowed directly from Scuderia's Formula 1 engineers, develops 428 bhp.
The Testarossa was conceived by Enzo Ferrari as the ultimate supercar, with no need for the latest technology or assistance.
The model we're presenting here rolled off the Maranello production line in 1990. It wears the traditional Rosso Corsa, so dear to its designer.
Purchased from the Charles Pozzi dealership, it has passed through the hands of 4 owners, the last of whom has owned it for over 15 years.
Always maintained within the Ferrari network, it has just undergone a major overhaul at the Modena Sport Biarritz workshops.
We have the service book and invoices from 2007 onwards.
Behind the wheel, the sound of the 5-litre 12-cylinder engine is spellbinding. The car is surprisingly accessible and much easier to handle than its competitor of the time, the Lamborghini Countach.
The chassis is extremely stable at high speeds and the brakes have lost none of their bite.
This is undoubtedly one of the best cars for getting to grips with the Ferrari philosophy.
