Biarritz Sports And Classic Cars (Bscc) is pleased to present this 1960 Triumph TR3A.

With its 2 liter 100hp engine, common with, amongst others, Morgan and Fergusson tractors..., this little roadster was capable of reaching nearly 170Km/h.

 

This TR3A was imported from California in 2011.

As stated in an expert report dated April 2021, the restoration is of good quality and without any significant corrosion.

 

A record of invoices is present but does not reflect the entire restoration.

It has only had 2 owners in France and has covered less than 2000 km since 2011.

 

The car looks very good. The paint is recent and beautiful. The interior has been renovated, the bonnet is in good condition. The chassis is sound and the engine compartment is very clean.

 

Below are the latest expenses:

- An additional fan has been installed.

- The carburetion has been tuned up.

- A new fuel gauge will be installed and the Dynamo will be revised.

- The steering will also be revised.

 

This little convertible is very pleasant to drive. The engine starts immediately. No suspicious smoke. The gears are easy to shift (for a 1960 car...). The braking is sound.
