Austin Healey 3000

Biarritz Sports And Classic Cars (Bscc) is pleased to present you this very exclusive Austin Healey 3000 MK1 BT7 " Pat Moss Evocation ".

Pat Moss (Stirling Moss' sister) was a famous rally driver in the 60s.
She raced an Austin Healey 3000 where she won the 1960 Liège Rome Liège rally.

This Austin Healey has been prepared in the spirit of the original.
Classic Garage (José Da Rocha) carried out the preparation on the basis of a car that was already very sound at the start.

More than 70.000 Euros of preparation were done on the car.

We have a complete restoration file with invoices and photos.
The engine parts are from Arrow Precision
Forged pistons, lightened connecting rods, steel crankshaft
Lightweight flywheel, reinforced clutch
Aluminium cylinder head,
Gearbox with straight cut gears,
Self-locking axle,
Weber carburettors,
Disc brakes front and rear,
Dual brake system,
Bolt-on roll bar,
Tripmaster Brantz,
Handhart chronometers,
The trunk was custom made, as was the cut-out for the carburettor access.

The engine develops 180hp, which is more than enough for regularity events.

The car has an FIA Period F Class GTS 12 passport and is valid until the end of 2029.
This makes it eligible for many national and international competitions.

Since leaving the workshop in 2018, it has only taken part in one rally (the Coupe des Alpes in 2018)

The road test is as good as the preparation of a rally car. Once the engine is warmed up, the car's temperament can be heard. The car sits well on the road. The side-mounted exhaust system multiplies the feeling. You quickly feel at ease in the car, almost too quickly...

This is the ideal car to enter the most prestigious rallies.
