Description
Jaguar Mark X
Biarritz Sport And Classic Cars is pleased to present this 1963 Jaguar Mark X.
With its bourgeois lines, the Mark X was Jaguar's top-of-the-line sedan of the 1960s. Powered by the famous 3.8L engine shared with the E-type and the MK II, it carries the imposing body of this beautiful car with its 265 horsepower and three SU carburetors. The four round headlights blended into the fenders and the central grille became the signature features of Jaguar sedans until the late 2010s.
Interior: leather, varnished wood trim, and picnic tables for the rear seats. Luxury is the order of the day.
Top speed: 120 mph (193 km/h). Drivers of the time were courageous...
This vehicle is in good working order. No history, but you can see that the original color was blue (Cotswold Blue). The interior is in good condition, with the leather and wood trim in good used condition. The engine runs smoothly and shifts easily (for a transmission of this era).
This is a vehicle that will need attention. Some work is required to address, among other things, the noisy steering, the heater, some oil leaks, and a temperamental starter.
The Heritage Trust Certificate application has just been submitted.
This is the perfect candidate for a quality restoration.
