Description
Matchless 41-G3L
Biarritz Sports And Classic Cars (BSCC) is proud to present this 1946 Matchless 41-G3L.
Born in the post-war era, this motorcycle was originally developed for the British Army before a civilian version was made available. The G3L model stands out thanks to its telescopic front suspension—a major innovation at the time—which made it noticeably more comfortable and easier to handle than most of its contemporaries.
It is powered by a 350cc air-cooled single-cylinder 4-stroke engine, paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. With kick-start ignition and a simple, robust mechanical setup, this bike remains both reliable and easy to maintain—nearly 80 years after it was built.
This Matchless proudly wears a beautiful original patina that highlights its authenticity. The chrome, mudguards, and fuel tank all retain their vintage lines, giving the bike an elegant and timeless appearance.
